Investment in capital
In order to obtain a temporary residence permit in Latvia, the foreign investor should invest in the basic capital of the company of the Republic of Latvia by means of the establishment of the new company or by the capital increase of the existing company by not less than:
- 35 000 EUR, upon condition that the company should pay taxes in the amount of not less than 40 000 EUR during one year;
-150 000 EUR, without any restrictions on the amount of taxes. The company should employ at least 50 people and the turnover should not be less than 10 million EUR.
