Investments in real estate
In order to obtain a temporary residence permit in Latvia the foreign investor should purchase one real estate unit at the cost of not less than 250 000 EUR.
Cadastral value of the real estate should be at least 80 000 EUR.
It is necessary additionally to pay 5% of the real estate value to the state budget in order to obtain the residence permit.
In the course for submission of documents for a residence permit the foreign investor will have to submit the agreement confirming the purchase and the document confirming the bank payment. Granting a residence permit will be assessed on the basis of the transaction amount.
